Homo Restis is a sound costume performance, developed in the years 2014-2016 by Sarah Leimcke and Jens Vetter as the most recent performance project of their ten-year collaboration.
The project consists of two protagonists dressed in handmade full-body costumes
made of two-layer golden leather. Strings can be attached to these costumes
using hooks. The counterparts to the strings are sound boxes that can be placed in the surrounding space and can bridge a distance of up to 8 meters from the costume with the strings. The movements of the strings (distance, direction and speed) are  converted live into sound.
